For example, skilled workers in engineering professions in technical research and production control earn a median of 5,856 euros, followed by engineering professions in mechanical and vehicle technology with 5,749 euros and engineering professions in plastics production and the chemical industry with 5,723 euros. Salaries in engineering professions in the fields of energy and electrical engineering are also well above average at 5,517 euros.
